Bailey, John F. "Jack" age 79, of Wonder Lake, retired Lt. of CFD spanning a 28 year career, assigned to truck 2, Engine 104, Bureau of Fire Investigation, and Bureau of Bomb and Arson Investigation. Naval Veteran of World War II serving on the USS Oakland. Beloved husband of the late Louise M. (nee Mecler) (November 6, 2004), loving father of Donna L. Bailey of Hometown, Carol A. (Walter) Goodyear, of Mokena, John L. (Kathleen) Bailey, of Lansing, William R. (Helen) Bailey, of Chicago, Kevin M. (Susan) Bailey of Tinley Park, David B. (Mary Jo) Bailey of Oak Lawn, and Timothy A. (Kathleen) Bailey of Chicago, grandfather of 14, fond brother of Jeanne Inman of Black River, NY. and fond brother in law of Betty Bailey, of Oak Lawn, preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred (nee Otten) Bailey, his spouse and his brother, Robert. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2006, at the Justen's Wonder Lake Funeral Home, 7611 W. Hancock Dr., Wonder Lake, Visitation will continue from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn. Funeral Mass Wednesday, February 1st, leaving the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. for the 10 a.m. Mass at Queen of Martyrs Church, 10233 S. Central Park Ave., Evergreen Park.
