Dear Aubin Family: John was a friend of my mother and father when I was a teen-ager so I have known him for over 50 years. He was always an example of honesty, dependability, and reliability. It is no question we have lost one of the world's finest. He will be missed but we have been blessed to have known him. Sorry to hear about your father. I am unable to attend the funeral because I am in Florida. My son Brian let me know that he is going to the wake. I told him to give you my condolences.
John and I had some good times together and my heart goes out to you for his loss. He will be in my prayers.

Dad,
I know you are at peace now and with the woman who no other could replace (your Rosie) and the precious daughter you lost and longed to see again; I know your all dancing in heaven. We are celebrating your life dad the way you would want us to and although we will miss all the great times we have shared together as family, you will always remain close in our hearts, minds and spirits. I will remember all you taught me, courage, conviction of self, trust and compassion for others.

Our Deepest thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. John has touched our family with his love and friendship. My children would go and visit Mr. John (this is what the kids called him)when he would be out sitting on his front stoop. He loved to visit with the kids. He loved my daughter Elizabeth and she loved him as well. We will never forget him.
