Dear Chuck, Jen, Mandy and Joe,

We are still in awe, yet not at all surprised, but the number of people who came to pay tribute to the wonderful, fun loving person that we all knew and loved. To say that she will be missed by many is an understatement. She will remain in our hearts and minds always.

I hope that all of your fond memories and many, many friends will help see you through this coming year and bring comfort to all of you.

Maybe the stars are not really stars, but only holes in the sky allowing the brightness of Johanna's smile to shine down on us. I know she's watching . . . and smiling.

Much love, Karen and Carl

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. Although it may be difficult now, you will have many fond memories that will get you through the days and weeks to come. Your wonderful family and all of your friends will help you through this time.

Chuck, Mandy and Jen,

We had great affection for Johanna after meeting her around Christmas of 2000 through Debbie and Lou. The following Easter, we all vacationed together in Gulf Shores, Alabama and had such a wonderful time. We relaxed on the beach, ate well, and did plenty of laughing and talking.

Johanna was the most amazing and thoughful person, who genuinely cared about those she loved. She never forgot to acknowledge a birthday or anniversary, no matter how involved she was in her work, and later on, her own well-being. We know our lives are richer for having known this wonderful and special woman. Our prayers are with you always.

I met your Johanna while helping with computer classes for seniors at St Mary Magdalene last year. I was only with her a couple of hours, but realized what a special person she was. I am very sorry for your premature loss of such a vibrant person. My Grandmother always said that the good died young. God Bless all of you.
