Joe Perales Obituary
3.18.1938 – 11.27.2021. Joe was born in Monterey MX and immigrated to California in 1952 where he completed business school after high school, eventually settling in Chicago becoming a book keeper for Searol Pfizer for many years before retiring. Joe moved with his partner Josef Weiszhar to Sarasota in 2003 and continued to make an impact on the lives he met. Joe left a legacy of many memories, numerous friends and health care workers at SMH over the past 18 years and will be missed by many. He left this world peacefully while at Tidewell Hospice House. Succeeded in death by parents Vidal and Guadalupe Perales, brothers, Geraldo Perales and Jorge Pearles, and sisters Rosa Perales, Guadalupe (Tony) Schmidt, Neana (Norman)Fish, and Yolanda (Leonardo) Salinas. Survived by long term partner Josef Weiszhar of 58 years having the most memorable experiences one can only have. Also survived by siblings Maria (Alan Robert) Grimm, Margarita Perales and Irma (Jesus) Quintanilla and numerous nieces and nephews that have brought joy into his life.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at 5 PM - 6 PM with Memorial at 6 PM - 7 PM at Sound Choice Cremation, 4609 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL, 34233. Services will be on Wednesday, December 15th at 9:30 AM at Church of Incarnation, 2901 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL, 34239. Services will be lived streamed at https://incarnationchurch.org/ for up to a week following services. Arrangements are being handled by Sound Choice Cremation www.SoundChoiceCremation.com.
