Joe Hernandez Obituary

Hernandez, Joe M. Age 66, late of South Chicago, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Devoted son of the late Roque and late Rebeca Hernandez; dear brother of Mario Hernandez, Rebecca Hernandez, Maria Johnson and Rocky (Christina) Hernandez; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe was a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, a current employee and Union Steward of the U.S. Postal Service - Glen Ellyn office, the first Hispanic HR Director of Chicago Cable and a former HR Director of International Harvester and Guernsey Dell. Joe received a BA in Political Science from Roosevelt University and was a graduate of Bowen H.S. and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Grammar School.
