Flood, Joanne M. "Sissy" was taken suddenly into the Living Arms of Jesus on July 24, 2008, cherished daughter of Joan (nee O'Donnell) and the late Joseph Flood, dear sister of Kathleen Leonard, Joseph (the late Patricia), Patrick (Eileen), Christopher, Sharon (Ivair) Maksutoski and the late Michael, loving aunt of many, especially Vicky (Bobby) Dorman, Colleen Flood and Erick Flood, James Leonard Jr. and Joshua Simental, special great-aunt to Michael, Rachel and Katelyn Dorman. A longtime employee and friend to many at the Beef & Brandy Restaurant. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 4635 S. Wallace St., to St. Gabriel Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Visitation Monday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. 773-268-0703

Sissy is a nick name for this wonderful spirit.She had more adventure inside her than most.She made my life more joyous just by allowing me to give her a ride on my motrocycle.Sissy had no fear when we went 100 mph .She just was happy to take the ride .Sissy you brightened my life . Thank you
