Joanie and I shared many laughs and shed a few tears together, during our 34 years as friends and neighbors on 33rd Place.
She was a special lady to my family and me.
We have missed her wonderful laugh and beautiful smile.

I was sorry to hear that Joan passed away. I also have very fond memories of going to the bakery with my mom and brothers on the weekends to get our free donut from Arnold & Joan. What a great lady - she was always smiling! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news.
Even though she has not been in the old house for awhile, it is still your mom's house to me. Every now and then, I still think about when I was young, riding my bike to the bakery for a hug from your mom and a free cookie.
I will miss her and my thoughts are with you...
