My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you travel through this sorrowful time. I found what I think is a beautiful expression on a Father's Day card. One of our daughters sent it to my husband.
I've taken the liberty of changing it to the feminine genre.
"There is power in a woman . . . in her form, in her voice, in the boundless legacy she leaves through her children."
Even though I never met your mother, I know you, and that is why I think this may describe your mother.
