I did not know your mom very well even though she was my cousin. I only remember she was a very sweet child. My prayers are with you and Joanie's family. I will have a mass said for your mom this next week at St. Joseph's Church in Athens, Ga. My heart and love go out to you, Carol Landen-Moore

Thank God for taking Joan out of her pain..I know that the ones left behind are the ones that are suffering now with the loss of their mom & wife. She is in a better place now, and feels no pain.

Mom, you always told me Heaven was everything you loved. So I know you are sitting amongst endless gardens of flowers (no weeds), thousands of good books (no cobwebs) and your beloved Grandma. I know you are pain free with no restrictions to keep you from doing all the things you love. I miss you terribly. I know my baby is safe in your arms and you are giving him lots of love. Watch over us and I look forward to the day we can be together again. Thank you for being my Mom and best friend, I love you. Your Daughter
