I was so sorry to read that Joan had died. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family and to all others who knew and loved her. Over the years, Joan was a great help to me in encouraging her Academy of Our Lady (Longwood) classmates to attend the A.O.L. Alumnae Association's reunions. I'll always remember Joan's smile and her sense of humor. Surely her generous spirit will remain with us.

Sending much love and sympathy to my Chicago cousins. My grandparents Tim and Catherine Walsh (Aunt Honey to some) always talked fondly of Joan and her family. I remember rollerskating on her kitchen floor once. She always kept my mom updated with the latest Chicago news. May she live in your hearts forever.
