Jo Joyce Obituary
Jo Anne Joyce, February 3, 1945-July 24, 2023. Devoted sister of Bernard Joyce, the late Francis Joyce, the late Thomas Joyce, and the late Mary Ellen Mellon (Edward). Loving aunt of Eileen Mellon Carter (Chris), Michael Mellon (Becky), John Mellon (Laura), and the late Daniel Mellon. Great-aunt of Mallory Mellon Rizzo (Michael). Liam Mellon, and Ian Mellon. Great-great aunt of Richard "Ricky" Rizzo. She graduated from St. Gertrude School in 1959. Lifelong friendships were made in attending and graduating with the 1963 class of Saint Scholastica High School. She was a hearing officer in Labor Relations for the Chicago Public School System. Visitation will be Thursday, 10- 11AM at St Gertrude Church, Chicago; with Mass to follow at 11AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Memorials to Misericordia, 6300 N Ridge, Chicago.
