Grandpa passed away on a warm Halloween day. I still remember seeing all the kids having Halloween fun on the day he passed away. He was really a hard working blue collar worker. Your family will always love and miss you. Love, Rick Cazares

My Dad was a family man who was married to the same woman all his life. Dad provided me a loyal mother who was instrumental in raising their seven children.
My earliest memory of Dad was seeing him wake up early and going off to work at the steel mills. I also remember playing games and going to recreational activities with my Dad. Dad provided us all with so many barbecues and Dad could cook if necessary.
My Dad taught us the value of an education and even went back to school to to become a mill wright. This is a special trade in the steel mills. Dad was present at all our graduations. Dad taught us to never give up. Dad taught me to play hard, but to play fair.
Dad was a practicing Roman Catholic who made sure I would be an altar boy who would carry the cross with the Irish priest. Dad was respectful of all religious faiths and nationalities. Dad encouraged us all to be law abiding citizens in this great country.
My Dad retired in 1994 and we had a big retirement party for him. In 1994. I said my Dad is a great man and I wish I were more like him. I believed that back in 1994 and I'll believe that forever.
My Dad would take the opportunity to thank all the physicians, nurses, and medical staff who helped him live past the age of eighty two at time of his death.
My Dad is no longer in physical pain, but is is in a place where there is no pain and there is no war. Dad is in a peaceful place called heaven.
