I offer the Ourada family my deepest, heartfelt sympathy. I knew Jerry from his Spiegel days, and I always appreciated his professionalism, his colorful sense of humor and his caring. As any particular catalog was moving closer to going to press, and there were the inevitable late changes, Jerry was always a bright spot in the tedium. Those were the times when I had the most contact with him, and I actually looked forward to bugging him. He liked his work and he loved his family, and I am richer for having known him. My prayers are with you.

Dear Kay and family,
When I read Jerry's name in the paper, I remembered back to high school days as though they were yesterday. I remember how you and he bantered back and forth when you were dating...I was so envious of the obvious chemistry you enjoyed!! When I sat with you all at our 1994 class reunion, I saw how the chemistry had grown and how you cared so deeply for each other. What a Blessing! My prayers are with you during the new road you will take.

Kay and Family, my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jerry. I worked with him at Spiegel in the type department and he was the best. He was a lot of fun and very hardworking. He keep us entertained with his fishing, bowling and casino stories. The universe is a better place because Jerry was a part of it. My prayers are with you.

Kay,Harold and all, I'm so sorry for your loss. You all know me as Pat Lifka from grammar school, but Jerry knew the "Dolores" years. I worked with him at both Sears and Spiegel. We always joked that if Jerry left the catalogs would never look as good. He was a truly expert typographer-plus. He always stepped forward to help altho his first reaction to a request might scare you! He had a great sense of humor and a listening ear. God be with you thru this time of grieving.

Dear Ourada Family,
I have known Jerry for what seemed like a very long time. We worked together at Spiegel and he was a great friend. I appreciated him for his humor and compassion, especially when it was needed most. He was a wonderful man and a true character. I will surely miss his stories, jokes and clever remarks about life. My deepest sympathies go out to his family, but take comfort in those whom he called friend… for he will always be in our hearts.

To the Ourada family, my deepest sympathies. I worked with Jerry at Spiegel, and he was a wonderful person. Whenever I needed a laugh, I would go talk to him. I will miss hearing about his fishing trips and road trips to the Indian casino with the Mrs. I will always remember him fondly. God bless.

O WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS GREAT PERSONALITY AND EASY GOING MANNER. A GUY WHO WAS ALWAYS FAST WITH A JOKE OR FIRST TO YELL FOR A DRINK. EVERYONE I KNOW WHO EVER CAME IN CONTACT WITH HIM ALWAYS REMEMBERED HIM AND SAID HOW NICE HE WAS. HE WILL TRUELY BE MISSED, HOWEVER WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM.

To the Ourada family - my deepest sympathies to all upon reading about the death of Jerry. I worked with Jerry at Sears and he was a great friend. Learned lots about the typography trade and enjoyed a mutually respectful working relationship. Even better were the great lunches he and I and "Big John" shared and enjoyed. I will keep you all in my prayers. Sally Kill
