Jerry Hayes Obituary

Hayes II, Jerry Richard Age 23 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 20, 2010. Jerry, known as "Big Boi", was born in Joliet, Illinois to Jerry Richard Hayes I and Collette Landery Hayes. He grew up in Glenwood, University Park, Illinois was a graduate of Crete-Monee High School, Crete, IL, Class of 2005. He was a dedicated worker at Ken's Foods in McDonough for six years and attended Revolutionary Ministries in Hampton. He cherished his membership in the Sky High Impala Car Club and the many close friendships he developed. His pastime was improving the performance and accessories in his automobile. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George W. Hayes, Sr. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Collette Hayes; sisters, Jeri' and Jenell Hayes; one God-daughter; one brother, Jamil Hayes; two foster brothers, Charles and Derrick Brandon; two nephews, Kristin and Kameron Anthony; paternal grandmother, Juanita Hayes; maternal grandparents, Barney and Eloise Creal; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, dear friends and a special pet, JoJo. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Revolutionary Ministries, 7 McDonough Street, Hampton, Georgia 30228. Friends may visit the family Friday 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
