My second/adopted dad was a great man! He had a hand in bringing the most wonderful friend into my life simply by giving me a ride home and telling me Lisa was available to go to a dance with me that night...the beginning of the best friendship anyone could ever imagine. I spent the majority of my teenage weekends at his house, driving him crazy as he affectionately called me "chatty cathy." He was such a sweet, caring, genuine and loving soul. I will miss him with all my heart, but I know there are people in heaven that have anxiously waited for him and will be elated to see him, however the void can never be filled for those that loved him. TO the Nega/Ripka family, thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with me, when you didn't have to. To my second dad - save me a burrito and we'll share it when it's time to be reunited again.

Sincerest condolences for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn," sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61: 1, 2

Uncle Jerry will be truly missed by family and friends. He was a quiet and kind person to be around. Taken from this earth too soon.
Love, Karen and John
