Huyler, Jerome Francis "Jerry" 62, passed away April 21st, beloved husband of Jean, loving father of Stafford, Dana (MaryEllen) and Brandon (Cheryl), brother of Peg Rees, Mimi (Bill) Hagan, Jim (Sandy) Huyler, Joe Huyler and the late Jack (Jean) Huyler, loving son of the late Werner and Mary Ellen Huyler, loving uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Graduate of New Trier High School and American Academy of Arts. Gifted graphic artist with notable paintings of the North Shore Line. Stellar Athlete played pulling guard in the single wing offense at New Trier High School. Jerry was a lifetime resident of Wilmette and Winnetka. A Memorial visitation Saturday, April 24th, from 1 to 4 p.m. will be held at the N. H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd. (two blocks south of Lake Ave. on west side), Glenview. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka, Sunday, April 25th, 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the New Trier Scholarship Trust Fund, New Trier High School c/o John White, 385 Winnetka Ave., Winnetka, IL 60093. You are a truly beautiful spirit, Jerry. I remember all the good times as your neighbor in Winnetka, and I'll always treasure that Space Window painting you gave me before I moved to California in '77. I look at it many times each day and can hear your laughing love of life. Namaste' my good friend. You now know more than anyone alive!

I'm so glad me and Jerry discussed our faith occasionlly. Thats why I can say with all certainty that he was called home to be with his Lord. Jerry was a great guy who we loved and will miss dearly. Our thoughts, prayers and sympathy to the entire Huyler family.
