Gierut, Jerome J. age 71, Ret. Sgt. C.P.D. and Army Vet, beloved husband of Ruth Goslawski (nee Rechlevicz), loving father of Michele (John) Bartz, Ben (Rina), and David (Lenore) Goslawski, and Ruth (Gino) Cavallo, dear grandfather of five, devoted brother of Marilyn (Robert) Doherty, Larry (Judy), and the late Gene (Lucy) Gierut, also many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen, to Our Mother of Good Counsel Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Baseball Club, F.B.I. National Academy Associates and Retired Chicago Police Association.
