Jeremiah lived a long wonderful life. Psalm 90:10 explains "the days of our years are seventy, and because of specail mightiness they are eighty." Compassion to family and friends.

My sympathies to all of the McAuliffes. As I look over the arc of Uncle Jerry's life, it is apparent that his qualities of quiet intelligence, diligence and responsibility served him well. He was a fine man, and I am better off for having known him.

I admire my grandfathers' life immensely – few men or women have or will accomplish as much as he did in his 90 years on Earth. Fewer still possess the kind of courageous spirit, keen sensibilities and sharp wit that made him such a great guy. He created a wonderful life and legacy to look back upon.

Dear Denny and Jane, Mary Beth and Dennis,

My deepest sympathies. Your Father was a wonderful man, in so many ways. I always enjoyed seeing him as he was very kind to me, and he had a quiet, but keen, sense of humor.

He was a good friend of my Father's and I know that Dad thought very highly of him. I hope that they are swapping old Navy or attorney stories now.

Your Dad will be missed by many. We send you our sympathy and love.

I will forever be grateful for the gift of my father in law's guidance. His grace, charm, wit, generosity and kindness were blessings to all who knew him. Yet another loss of the greatest generation he leaves behind a model for all to follow: well- mannered, respectful, dutiful, faithfull and spiritual. He is with God now and we ask for his peacefull repose. He leaves behind a marvelous legacy and I am honored to have known him . He will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
