Jeffrey Zuiker Obituary

Mr. Zuiker made a huge impact in my life and my love for music. I attribute my lives success to him being real and honest with us. I attribute my love of music and diversity to him. I thought about him often over the years. I know that his wife and children now have the world's most amazing guardian angel! God bless them!

I was shocked to find Jeff's name in the obit section. Sorry I didn't make it to the wake. I did speak with Chris, and I hope he passed on my sympathy to the Zuiker family. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say sorry for your loss. And like Cathie Barret said, its been quite a while, but there are alot of memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff at Metcalfe School. Jeff was always willing to share a smile and a kind word. His hearty laughter was always an uplifting addition to my day. He will be missed.

Jeffrey was a very kind and gentle person. He was always gracious in his manner, and it felt good to be around him. He was likeable and fun to be with. He will be missed by us.

I had the delight of working with Mr. Zuiker at Metcalfe and the news of his untimely death is very sad. I pray that your family is comforted in the name of Jesus during this trying time.

Mr. Zuiker had a larger impact on my life than any other teacher I've ever had. He was someone who was put before me in seventh grade and all his gifts, everything he had to offer, made perfect sense at that point in time. He was concerned with what mattered, would raise questions that caused us to think about what was truly important in regards to understanding who we really were, and spoke to us as thinking young people with endless possibilities. He exposed all of this and I will never forget him.

My deepest condolences to Jeff's family. May The Almighty have mercy on his soul and may perpetual light shine upon him. Haven't seen Jeff in nearly 20 years, yet my husband and I have grand memories of him.

I am so sad for this lost. Mr. Zuiker was an amazing person and teacher who will resonate with me forever. I have many great memories of my two wonderful years in his classroom. I am currently studying to be a teacher and I think of him often when I reflect on the reasons why I myself want to become a teacher. He taught me to take the road less traveled. He was an inspiring person. I would like to thank him for all that he taught me about life....and US history :)

My condolences to Jeff's family...we went to Marist and were in plays together. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Jeff Zuiker was my absolute favorite teacher at St. Mary of the Woods. He was both tough and fair and had a wonderful sense of humor. I have many fond memories of this awesome man. My thoughts and prayers are with the Zuiker family, and I am sorry for your loss. He will be deeply missed.
