We offer our deepest sympathy. When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, many cry out with great sorrow. Your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of Life. Never was it his purpose for our human lives to be taken away. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Psalm 147:3

March 25, 2009

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. Be comforted in knowing that God is with you during this difficult time and that there are friends that also share your sorrow with you. I find Psalms 121 to be very comforting during these times.

Sincerely,

Monica M.

Dear Penny, Frank, Michael and Family -

I was deeply saddened to hear of Jeffrey's passing.

Although much has happened to all of us since we first took root on Michael Lane, the early neighborhood days remain some of my fondest memories. Jeffrey is forever etched in those memories.

You are in my thoughts often, now more than ever. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that Jeffrey's warmth will be forever felt by those of us that knew him.

Jeff was truly an asset to Suburban Surgical - I will miss his smiling face/orders and the hard time (joking around) he would give me. He had many bumps in the road but would always bounce back with a smile on his face. Every day I would look for him to return to his desk like he has in the past. S.S.C.I will never be the same with out Jeff Kahn.
My condolences go out to Mr. and Mrs. Kahn and family.
Good bye to my co-worker/my friend. Ann Stauffer

Dear Kahn Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Many years ago ago I hired a shoe salesman named Jeff. We didn't talk much about shoes...but I have shared many a laugh, a beverage, a golf game, fantasy football advice and great times with your son - your brother. It was all time well spent and forever remembered.
Thank you for the gift of Jeff.
Sleep in peace my friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kahn family. I am honored to HAVE Jeff as a friend. His legacy, the joy he brought to others and the love he shared lives on forever. Even though Jeff and I work for somewhat competing companies in the small animal industry, (Snyder Mfg/ Suburban Surgical), I consider him a very good friend. We shared several nights out for dinner and shop talk. We even shared 5 grueling hours in Ohare airport trying to get to one of the trade shows. Funny story was he got out using his medical condition as the reason on a limited seating airplane, and I got stuck until the next day. We definitely had a laugh over that one. He was a first class act and a warrior as he battled against the cancer. He will be dearly missed .

Dear Kahn family,
There are no words to describe how sad we are by the loss of Jeff. He was a close friend & co-worker of my husband Jeremy, and he was a great inspiration to myself. Having MS, Jeff was always concerned about me and we leaned on eachother from time to time. His positive outlook was amazing and talking to him always reminded me that if he can be strong- so can I. He'd been through so much, yet his attitude was always positive. You raised an amazing, strong, caring, funny and giving son who touched a countless number of hearts. We will both miss him deeply.

Penny and Frank,
We are so sad for you about losing JEFF, he was a wonderful person and always so cheerful, he was always there for Alan for his MS WALKS and Alan was there for Jeff when he was going through his Chemo treatments. They have been very good friends since high school, went to Western together, and living in the same complex in Wheeling, and would always tell Jeff we are 3 generation of friends, your grandparents and my grandparents, my mom and your mom and us.
JEFF will always be in our hearts.
