Jeanne Slattery Obituary
Jeanne Louise Slattery, age 87, late of Orland Park, Beloved wife of Jack Slattery. Loving mother of Anita (Rick) Brown, Michael ( Denise), Mark (Christine). Proud grandmother of Dr. Ryan (Meagan), Megan (Brian) Urchell, Sean (Monica) Brown, Allison, Justin (Sydney), Paige Brown, Ben, and great grandmother of Will. Preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Louise and brother Charles Touranjeau. Jeanne was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors. When she wasn't in her garden she was spending time with her family especially loving on her grandkids.
Funeral Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 10:30 AM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena to St. Mary Church, Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in St Mary Cemetery - Mokena. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 19, 2024, 3:00-8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. For additional information on services, 708-479-1210.

I'm so sorry to read of Mrs. Slattery's passing. She was my 4th grade teacher at St Camillus in Chicago. I'll always remember her as a kind, lovely woman who took me under her wing and always encouraged me to continue my art studies. Rest in peace, Mrs. Slattery. We will all remember you with affection. My condolences to Anita and all the family.
