Jean Stonis Obituary

Stonis, Jean (nee Gaidamovicz), age 87, beloved wife of the late Charles Sr., loving mother of Charles, cherished daughter of Anton and Anna Gaidamovicz, also survived by loving relatives and friends. Funeral Wednesday, 8:45 a.m. from the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S. Southwest Hwy. (7700W) Palos Hills, to Our Lady of the Ridge Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. During World War II, Jean worked at the Dodge Plant (currently Ford City) manufacturing B-29 Bomber engines. She also worked many years as a seamstess with Bridal Palace on 95th St. Donations to the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, Memorials & Tribute Program, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968; would be appreciated. Charlie,

I share your grief at your mother's passing. I remember sitting with you and her in your side yard eating Good Humor ice cream after one of our fishing trips to the pond by the tracks. She was a fine lady and will be missed.
