Sometimes people come into your life, and leave just as quickly, but sometimes they move in and stay. Your mom was such a person,I'll neverforgetthelady whose door was always open, and you were welcomed with "Hi,come on in,whats new? Can I get you a drink, wanna beer? You are all in my prayers.Mary Kay and Family

I read about Mrs. Pawlak passing away in the paper. I am very sorry for your loss. Over the years she has touched many lives including mine. I went to Harnew back in the 70's and she was my lunch mom. I never forgot her. She peeled my oranges for me all the time! Sounds so simple but when you are little, it means a lot. I never forgot it and I had often wondered if she still lived in Oak Lawn. My parents live there still a block away. I guess I just wanted to say that I have always thought very highly of her and wanted the family to know that.God Bless you all,Lynn
