Jean Cowley Obituary

Jean Swisher (nee Rathburn) Cowley, 80, of Amherst, Ohio, a library trustee for the Grafton-Midview Public Library until her retirement in 1985, passed away at Lorain Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain, Ohio, following an illness. Friends may call on Thursday, September 14, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, September 15, noon until time of services at 1 p.m., at Blackburn Funeral Home, Inc., 1021 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Tim Geunther, Pastor of Church of the Open Door. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township, Ohio. The family suggests memorials be made to the Grafton-Midview Public Library, 983 Main Street, Grafton, OH 44044.
