Maroney, Janina Kozub (nee Biga), 86, of Harvard, died December 23, at home. She was born in Tarnow, Poland to Stanislaw and Apolonia (nee Wojcik) Biga, beloved wife of the late Joseph Kozub and the late Carl Maroney, loving mother of Christine (John) Zalewski, Joseph Kozub, Henry Kozub, Theresa (nee Maroney) Green, grandmother of Shiela, Nicole, Robert (Kim) Kozub and the late Gina (nee VanHoughton) Harris, great-grandmother of Savannah White and Carly Harris, fond sister of Maria, Angela, and Teresa. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St., Harvard, IL, with Rev. Paul White officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Harvard.
