Dear Allen,
Please know that you are especially in my prayers following the loss of your beloved Janet. I can well remember the feelings I had when I lost my father. Even though I could rejoice that he was in the care of our Heavenly Father, the sadness was still very real. Be confident that the prayers and love of mine and my staff are with you, too, as God continues to give you His supernatural peace. May He bless you as you depend on His strength.
His and Yours,

Jan was a sorority sister at Emory University. I will always remember her warm smile and optimistic attitude. She knew how to have fun and make everyone feel special. Although I have not seen her since college, she will be missed.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Janet for over 11 years when she came into Allen's life. She embraced me into her circle of friends as if we had known each other for years. I loved her for the joy and love she brought into Allen's life. I remember a weekend I spent with them and we sat on the patio watching the golfers. We shared stories and I felt so lucky to be with people who truly make me feel lucky to have them as friends. I will always remember Janet as a person with a gift of warmth and understanding for all she came in contact with. As Allen's sole mate, he is at a loss for this beautiful woman but her spirit will always be with him and those who called her friend.

Jan was my roommate at the Alpha Chi Omega sorority lodge at Emory in 1975-76. She was such a sweet person and so easy to get along with. I am deeply saddened to learn of her death.

Janet, thank you for being one of my friends. You were a beautiful example of happiness, and when life got you down, you grappled with it gracefully and then moved forward with finesse. Your strength of character showed in the ways you lived and loved your family. We will all miss you.
To Allen, Rick and the rest of Janet's loved ones, congratulations on being part of the life of one very special person. Peace to all of you in your times of sorrow.
