Dear Peter, Annie, Emily and Willie,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's death. You may remember the Fields family from Drexel Ave and Blackstone Ave.--and the Simons, Selmanoffs, Lowrys and Simons--many of whom are gone now. Scott, Kathy and Jackie are well. Jackie still lives in Chicago.

My sincerest sympathy on the death of your Mother. I just got a copy of an e-mail Betsy sent to me late today or I would have certainly attended the service at Bond Chapel.
