Just saw this. I was youth pastor at NWAG for 4 years and remember Jim and his son Jim and Helen. What a godly family, what a godly heritage. Heaven is rejoicing in the welcoming of such a man of God. I will remember this family always.

One of my fondest memories is spending a few hours with Jim in 2007. He was with my cousin Chuck Edwards' crew when they were shot down over Brux, Czechoslovakia, 24 Aug 1944. What a wonderful, kind man. We should never forget that he and his generation saved the world from darkness. I am deeply saddened by his passing and eternally greatful for his friendship.

Your dad was a good watchful neighbor who always looked out for the folks on Warren Ave. He was friendly and jovial -- I enjoyed our many conversations over the years. He was truly a man of "the greatest generation", having dutifully served his nation, family, and community. The world is a lesser place without him.
My sincere condolences,
Christine Allen
