Ward, James Lawrence

James L.Ward 72, U.S. Army veteran and resident of Orland Park,Ill.passed away on Wed.Sept.6,2023.Jim was a 1965 graduate of St.Margaret of Scotland Grammar School and a 1969 graduate of St.Rita High School.Jim was an avid fisherman and worked in the auto body industry for 45 yrs.Devoted son of the late Joseph and the late Lillian Ward(Regh).Fond brother of the late Kenneth(Sue),Thomas,and Robert(Karen).Dearest uncle of Kenny Ward,Michelle Nilles,Brian Ward,Lisa Lamphere,Anna Fratto,Joseph Ward and Christine Durkin. A memorial service will be held at St.Barnabas Church 10134 Longwood Drive Chi,Ill.on Tuesday,September 26,2023.Visitation will be held from 10am till noon.Mass will be celebrated at noon.

JW was one of the best friends another person could ever ask for.We were friends for right around fifty years and one of the most honest and truthful individuals I have ever known. If you were lucky enough to be friends with him consider yourself one lucky person. REST IN PEACE BROTHER.I will never forget you.
