James Tracy Obituary

Tracy, James D. 89, WWII Veteran, passed away July 22, 2003, beloved husband of the late Daphne (nee Bjorklund), loving father of Susan (John) Calderone of Glenview and James Tracy of Kansas City, KS; grandfather of eight, dear brother of Jean (the late Robert) Erickson and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Tracy was born and raised in Chicago on the near north side and graduated from St. George H.S. He attended Dartmouth College and University of Michigan Law School before serving in WWII. He settled in Detroit with his family and was an attorney at the law firm of Dykema Gossett for many years. Services will be held in Grosse Pointe, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Needy Family Fund at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1123 Church St., Glenview, Il, 60025, would be appreciated.

James Tracy (Grandfather) was a very special person, I feel very lucky to have had a chance to get to know him. He will be missed.
