Toomey, James "Bud" 79, WWII Army Veteran, retired funeral director, beloved husband of Mary Jane, loving father of Maureen (the late James) Marcello, Kathleen (Martin) Burghgraef, Joan (Clark) Young, Jane (John) McHugh and James (Jerri), cherished grandfather of 11, fond brother of the late Jack (Mary Claire) and the late Mary Therese (Edward) Hurley. Funeral Wednesday, March 6th at 9:30 a.m. from Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee to St. Tarcissus Church. 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven. I worked with Bud at the Cook County Department of Public Health for many years. He was a very good man. I am very sorry for your loss. Bud will also be missed by his fellow employees at the health department's Environmental Health Service division.
