James W. Sullivan

CUYAHOGA FALLS James W. Sullivan, 80, passed away Feb. 24, 2005.

He was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and lived in Cuyahoga Falls since 1960. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific The atre, retired from the B.F. Goodrich Co. in 1982, and was a Sum mit County Sheriff's Dep uty for 37 years, retiring in 1993. He was a mem ber of St. Jo seph Catholic Church, the Ancient Order of Hibernians Cuyahoga Falls Division, Knights of Columbus of Akron, F.O.P. 139, and the O.P.B.A. of North Royalton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela (David) Christy of South Carolina and Patrice (James Jr.) Burkle of Kent; son, Patrick (Beth) of Munroe Falls; brothers, Jack of Akron and Robert of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Jennifer (Erik), David, Ashley, Abbey, Andrew, and Shea; great-grand children, Christian, Cassidy, Colton, Conner, and Caitlin.

Calling hours will be Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., at the McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home, at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail. Mass of Chris tian Burial will be Monday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Procession to form at church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
