Sheehy, James 87, native of Castle Island, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Beloved husband for 55 years to Kathleen (nee Naughton); loving father of Thomas (Lori), John (Suzanne), James Jr., Jeremiah (Lisa), Mary (Martin) Reilly, Anne (Danny) Derrig, Michael (Patricia), Kevin (Maureen), Brian (Mary) and the late Patrick; cherished grandfather of Lauren, Brittany, Thomas, Alaina, Patrick, Robert, James, Kelly, Kerri Anne, Jeremiah, Brendan, Ailish, James, Patrick, Catherine, Kathleen, Kevin, John, Brendan, Sean, Patrick, Hannah Kay, and Molly Sheehy, Kathleen, Patrick, John, and Connor Reilly, Daniel, Patrick, Katelyn, Lara, Ryan and Liam Derrig; beloved son of the late Hannah (nee Collins) and Thomas; dear brother of the late Jeremiah (the late Margaret), Thomas, Brendan (the late Patricia) and Maria (John "Jack" Brosnan). Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Friday 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at John E. Maloney Funeral Home, 1359 W. Devon (Glenwood & Devon). Family and friends will meet Saturday for Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 6559 N. Glenwood. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Proud member of Local #399 Operating Engineers and retired employee of Cook County of Illinois. Honorable Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
