Schiferl, James Edward James Edward Schiferl, 72, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Ireta (nee Mongelluzzo) Schiferl; loving father of James, Donna (Larry) LaPlante, Daniel (Joy), and Robert; cherished grandfather of six; dear brother of Ruth Ruff, Kate Petrick, Pat Hornig, Thomas, Jean Scherdell, Charles, Gerald, Carol Deike, Mary Lou Deike, and the late Richard; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation from 3-9 PM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights where funeral service will be held Thursday at 10AM. Interment private. Dear Ireta and Family, I met you and Jim playing Bingo at the Elks Club, not knowing you lived at the end of my street! I have been the lucky one to have known you and your family for 20 plus years, My heart aches for your loss, and I believe Jim is at peace, Please know I care and am here if you need anything! I love you all!
