Veteran of Vietnam War, volunteer Firefighter for Forest Park, loving husband of Patricia (nee Seddon), dear father of Stephanie, Jason and the late Craig, fond son of Fred and the late Lillian, devoted brother of David, Fred Jr., Gary, Clyde, Kenny and Mary, uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Funeral Friday, 9:15 from Peterson Funeral Home, 6938 W. North Ave. (3 blks. east of Harlem), Chicago, to St. Bernardine Church, Forest Park. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, from 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to VFW National Home for Children, 3513 S. Waverly, Eaton Rapids, MI, 48827. Arrangements by Ahern Funeral Home, 708-383-5700 or 708-848-6661.
