Pienta, James Peter

James Peter Pienta (b. July 29, 1949), passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024 in Oswego, Illinois. He is survived by his beloved girlfriend Helen and dog Daisy, sister Trudy, son Daniel, daughter Amy, granddaughter Taylor Lynn, sister-in-law Mary Anne, and mother of his children Denise. Preceding him in death were his brothers Eugene and John and dogs Bud and Heidi.

For decades, Jim enjoyed the camaraderie of his coworkers at Griffith Foods, both at the plant and on the golf course. Jim was known by many and loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on June, 17, 2024, Monday, 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Jim's memory to the American Cancer Society or Paws Chicago.
