James D. "Sweet Pete" Peterson, 38, of Canton, Ohio, fiance to Laquette Mathis, departed this life suddenly on Thursday, February 17, 2005. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 23, 2005, 10 a.m.-noon, at Deliverance Christian Church, 2130 - 31st St. NW, Canton, Ohio. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, noon, at the church. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to: 2610 - 12th St. SW, Canton, OH 44710. Arrangements entrusted to Rhoden Memorial Home, Inc., Canton, Ohio.
