Dear daddy, I thank you for being the best father and friend to me since the age of 12!!!!!! YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY FATHER! You taught me so much and shared so much of yourself with all! The first time anyone would meet you, they instantly fell in love, for you have the biggest and warmest and generous heart! I miss cuddleing with you! I miss your corny jokes! I MISS YOU! Dear Debbie, Jim & Donna. We were so sorry to hear about your Dad.Lots of great thoughts came back to us about your Mom (Arlene) & Dad. Had so many great times back then. Your Mom taught me how to make Polish Sausage & Sauerkraut, it was so good.Your Mom and I would drink screwdrivers and talk forever. Your Dad was the Best ever. We have so many great memories of him. How about "The Dirty Old Men" baseball team in the 70's? Our Love & Prayers are with all of you. Ray & Peggy Hanley

May 19, 2011 Dear Mary and Family... My condolences to all of you upon Jim's passing. Jim("Jells'-"Jelly Belly')and I had many good times throughout St.John Cantius Grade, and Weber H.Schools. Acolytes; school and tavern softball teams in later years; card playing on the streetcorner of his parents' tavern and the Racine Police station. Bumped into one another sometimes at For-Pres Golf,or at the Addison St bar.(met your son once there) We lost touch in our early 20's,then possibly a late Weber reunion at my house when we were about 28. He was one of my favorite buddies, and always a "big-smile-laugh time" when we met. I sincerely feel you have lived with one of the better persons it is possible to meet with in this life...
and so did I.. Pleasant Memories... Love, Leon Rinehart

I remember Jim from our Weber days. One vignette comes to mind. We were charged with presenting our plans for a career as part of our "Occupations" course. Jim presented a very convincing case on how he would become a big time baseball catcher. It was well done and I thought he just might do it! He was a good one back then and I'd guess as good or an even better one long following Weber HS.
