Owens, Jr., James W. 39, formerly of Villa Park, loving father of Alex J.; stepfather of Blake Petersen; dear son of Linda A. (Michael) Stiglianese and James (Roberta) Owens; brother of John (Kathee), Kelly (Chris) Dziewulski, Jennifer (Luis) Bonilla, Stephanie (Matthew) Macdonald and Kimberly Owens; step-brother of Michael and John (Dawn) Stiglianese; uncle of Zachary Macdonald and Dylan Bonilla; grandson of the late Edward (Anne) Simunjak and Howard (Margaret) Owens; nephew of Lana "Lonnie" (Harry) Harris, Howard (Barbara) Owens and Steven Owens; cousin of Bill, Lori, Scott, Cindy, George and Joseph. James was a 1988 graduate of Willowbrook High School and an Army veteran. He was a friend to many and loved by all. A celebration of James' life will be held at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Prayers Wednesday, January 20 at 9:00 A.M. to Visitation Church Mass at 9:30A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of a classmate, friend and all around great caring person. Jim will be missed by all who he has touched in his life. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, god bless you all.
