Owens, Jr., James W. 39, formerly of Villa Park, loving father of Alex J.; stepfather of Blake Petersen; dear son of Linda A. (Michael) Stiglianese and James (Roberta) Owens; brother of John (Kathee), Kelly (Chris) Dziewulski, Jennifer (Luis) Bonilla, Stephanie (Matthew) Macdonald and Kimberly Owens; step-brother of Michael and John (Dawn) Stiglianese; uncle of Zachary Macdonald and Dylan Bonilla; grandson of the late Edward (Anne) Simunjak and Howard (Margaret) Owens; nephew of Lana "Lonnie" (Harry) Harris, Howard (Barbara) Owens and Steven Owens; cousin of Bill, Lori, Scott, Cindy, George and Joseph. James was a 1988 graduate of Willowbrook High School and an Army veteran. He was a friend to many and loved by all. A celebration of James' life will be held at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Prayers Wednesday, January 20 at 9:00 A.M. to Visitation Church Mass at 9:30A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
