James Michael Obituary

James Michael, Jr. 75, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at his residence.

He was born at Ft. Smith, Arkansas to James F. and Annie Carmack Michael. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 36 years, and worked many years for the Sheet Metal Union Local 273.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Michael, Sr.; two brothers, Jack and Ray Michael; and two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Carolyn Kelley.

He is survived by his mother, Annie Michael of Oxnard, California; three sons, Jerry and Patricia Vocque of Sardis, Arkansas; Jimmy and Lucy Michael of Oxnard, California; Daniel and Ruth Michael of Quitman, Arkansas; two daughters, Donna Larch of El Dorado, Arkansas and Leslie and Rodney Loera of Oxnard, California; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Michael of Oxnard, California; and two sisters, Betty and John Smith of Springdale, Arkansas; and Pauline and Wayne Biesecker of Venture, California.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. at Payton Chapel Mortuary in Oxnard, CA with burial to follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday night from 6-8 in California.
