Jimmy as my father used to refer to him , my Dad Jim DeFily was 33 years on the CFD and was friends with Jimmy right out of the Fire Academy , my father always spoke of Jimmy with great love and respect and as a dear friend , May Jimmy rest in peace....

My condolences to the Loughney and Heeter families ! Jim was a great man Old School Fire Department Chief and an honor to know him and work for him!!
They don't make like that anymore and he will truely be missed by many♥ RIP Chief Jim (RED) Loughney. You always had my back and for that you will always have a special place in my heart!! Thanks for all the good memories

To the entire Loughney Family and my friend Mo, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing . He was a great fireman , a great chief, but most of all a great family man and a great guy.
