Ladd and the late James R. Ladd Jr., dear step-father of Toney Stutesman and late Thomas Michael Stutesman, cherished grandfather of 15, fond brother of Joanne Mackey and the late Joseph Donald (Betty) Ladd. US Army WWII Veteran. Visitation 5 to 9 p.m., Friday at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago. Prayers 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Drake & Sons with a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Queen of Angels Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society, 77 E. Dear Jan & the Ladd Family



My condolences on the loss of your dad and husband. I remember meeting him at family gatherings -

how tall & handsome he was. He seemed to love life and liked to do many things. I knew he was sick & I hope he did not have to suffer much.
