Liz, Bill and George,
I've been so sad since I heard of your Dad's passing last week. Your brothers and sisters in the Hanson family knew him as the kindest and most gracious of gentlemen. He was a rare soul, and I think we all feel privileged to have known him.
I remember having a comforting conversation with your Dad just last year after we lost our Dad. Mr. K. gave me some great perspective at that time. He had strong convictions and morals, but he also had the wisdom to let other people be. He dealt with his own mortality with grace, humor and courage. He was truly one of a kind.
Please let your lovely mom know that we are all thinking of her at this sad time. I wish I could be there in person to help you all get through it, but I know my brothers and sisters will be, and I know they admired your father just as much as I did.
