James Koziel Obituary

Koziel, James A. Age 61, of Frankfort, formerly of Alsip and Chicago, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of 40 years to Joyce Koziel (nee Miller); dear father of Rosemary (Luther) Sexton; cherished grandfather of Autumn Sexton; beloved brother of Anna Marie (late Michael) Freeston, Denise (Daniel) Reberski, and Georgianna Koziel, also survived by nieces and nephews. James was the son of the late Eugene and Joanne Koziel. James was a previous V.P. of 4th Degree at St. Rita Council, and present 4th degree St. George Church of Tinley Park, and 3rd Degree at St. Anthony Council in Frankfort. He also was an active member of the Elks Lodge of Oak Lawn. Thefamily will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, on Saturday and Sunday, August 29th and 30th, 2015, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service shall take place in the funeral home on Monday, August 31, 2015, at 9:30 a.m., leaving for St. Anthony Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
