WWII, USN, beloved husband of the late Ellen (nee Moran), dear father of Michael (Carla), Terence (Patricia), Mary Ellen (Dennis) Carroll, Timothy (Juliene Japcon) and John (Mary), loving grandfather of Heather, Dennis, James, Elizabeth, Eileen, Bryan, Claire, Bridget, Daniel, Emily and Matthew, dear brother of Thomas (the late Patricia), William "Fran" (Janet), Madeline (the late Sam) Finlay, Rosemary Hickey and the late Nano (Leo) Lindbloom, the late John (the late Patricia) Hickey and brother-in-law of Anne (the late Frank) McKenna, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S, Kedzie Ave., to St. John Fisher Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 773-779-4411.
