I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I just happened to see his obituary after "googling" his name. I'm sorry not to have been able to pay my respects to him in person. I worked for many years with him at the Audy Home. I gave him a lift many times to the train station (I live in Hinsdale). He was my (still living) father's age. Please accept and extend to your family my sincere regrets at his passing. He will be remembered as a trusted colleauge in difficult times.

Dear Kathleen, Patsy, Jim and Mary Anne and families

I am so sorry that I cannot be with you at this time. I am visiting Peg in Florida for 2 weeks. My son Jim phoned us to tell us of your father's death. We will never forget how wonderful your parents were to us. Your Dad was so good to Jim when it came to activities at St.Philip Neri and always included Jim Spratte with his own sons. Your Mother and I shared in many occasions, both happy and sad. They were wonderful friends and loving people. They hold a fond place in my heart.

Fondly,
Elnora

Dear Jim, Mary Anne, Patsy, Kathleen and families

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. My Mom is down visiting for Thanksgiving and my brother Jim called us when he heard about your Dad. We were just looking at pictures my Mom brought with that had your Dad in them. Well, we have wonderful memories of growing up together, all of which were made possible thanks to our parents. I only wish my kids could have lived on Phillips Avenue and had a taste of what it was like growing up there.

We send our deepest sympathy to all of you. Love and God Bless,
Peggy, Jerry, Rachel, Alex and Jenna
