JC was a GREAT man and always always had a smile on his face. We knew each other in the 80's from downtown and were even room mates for a while. I haven't seen JC or Patrick in years and just feel terrible for the whole Halpin family. I will keep JC & you in my prayers.

I would like to say that I worked close to and around JC at the Mercantile Exchange for a number of years. We knew each other fairly well, at least I thought, :) . He was an awesome, ethical and moral individual that I held in high regard for years. I was always happy to shoot the breeze with him. I was born and raised in Canaryville and was not aware JC was affiliated with the "hood". I moved out of Cville in 82 but my mom still lives there today and she asked me this morning if I knew him. I was blown away that I did. I knew the late Moe Halpin and Timmy Halpin but never put 2 and 2 together with the names I guess. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends for such a loss. He was a great guy. Everyone at the Merc loved JC including me. Sincerely

JC was a great guy. I worked with him in the late 80's at the Merc and would see him in church once in a while. My prayers are with him and his family.

Didn't know JC for long, he was a neighbor of mine on Lowe Avenue. He always had time for me though, either to say hello or talk about scratch offs. I will miss him . My deepest sympathy. John Clancy.

Please accept my deepest condolences upon the death of your father. He always had a smile & a hug when we would run into each other at Altman birthdays, St Chris & grocery store in Midlo. Lots of good memories. May God bless the Halpin family.
