Dear Maureen and family,We just returned from a little vacation in Florida to hear the sad news od the death of your beloved Jim. Our deepst sympathy.Jim was a good and honest man who did an untold amount of good as he passed through this world. My own family often spoke of the depth of his kindness and generosity to them when they visited rhe Clare association years ago.Everyone knew that if you wanted some event to be a success, get JIM on the team. He played a key role in the develoment of the Clare Asoociation, the raffle and all the charitable events they supported.I was told that the turn out for his services was the greatest ever seen for an Irish person in Chicago, a fitting tribute to a universally loved man.Your loss is great.May the good Lord comfort and console you and your family as you mourn your beloved Jim

Maureen, Una(Pat), Tara (Kevin), Colm, and all of the grand children you are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim will never be forgotten by any one of the Keane family. He tried so hard to make life good for a great number of people by all of his kind deeds, He was never selfish, always kind, with a heart of gold and a smile for all. These are some of the memories he has left behind. Now we pray that God has given him the crown he so genuinely deserves. Maureen you know we are just around the bend from you and we will be in touch within the next few days. We know what it's like to loose the love of your life.

Dear Halpin Family:

I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to your family. I have many fond memories of Jim during my college years at O'Hare Field. Jim was very proud of and devoted to his family. Jim was a great leader and a very hard working man. Jim led snow operations at the busiest airport in the world and impacted the lives of millions of air travelers over the years. Jim epitimized the airport motto that "we never close." He will be missed by the many dedicated City of Chicago workers that came to know Jim over the years. I was deeply saddened to learn of Jim's premature departure. May God bless the Halpin family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless.

Sincerely,

John, Sarah, and Meggy

To The Halpin Family,

Please accept our deepest sympathies on Jim's passing. Jim will be missed by many. Jim was a wonderful man and always willing to help. I worked along side Jim at O'Hare Airport for many years, he made my life easier and I watched him help young police officers with their day to day duties, dealing with the traveling public. Jim was a great public servant. Jim always talked about his family, he was so proud! Jim will be in our prayers.
