WWII Army Vet., beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (nee Kissner), loving father of Judith (Thomas) Beniak, James (Mary), Brian (Linda), Phillip (Amy) and Mary (William) Richter, cherished grandfather of Charles (Tonya), Kathryn (Jason) Modine, Angela, Jeffrey, Amy, Alexander Beniak, Larissa Beniak, Zachary, Nicholas and Rebecca, great-grandfather of Brooke, dear brother of Cecelia, Elaine (Peter) Malito, late Margaret (late Peter) Spans and the late Rita (late Thomas) O'Rourke, fond uncle of many. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m., from Hills Funeral Home, LTD, 10201 S. Roberts Rd. (8000W), Palos Hills, to Sacred Heart Church. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Your dad was a great man, a good friend and neighbor. Both Jane, and Jim actively campaigned for my husband and I in several local city elections. We always counted on their support and it was always there.



Jim will be missed.
