Gilmartin Jr., James F. age 50, passed away Friday, June 25th, beloved husband of Victoria (nee Keenan), loving father of James III, Third Class Petty Officer of the United States Navy, Matthew and Lisa Gilmartin, dear son of Dolores (the late James Sr.) Gilmartin, fond brother of Bill (Jan), Dennis, Bob, Laurie (Dale) Corman and Lynn (Ray) Norris, uncle of many nieces and nephews, son-in-law of Jerry (the late Jacqueline) Keenan, brother-in-law of Jim (Denise), Mark (Meryl), Patty, Shelly, Michael, and Sean Keenan. Former employee of LTV and U.S. Steel. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road (154th St.) in Calumet City. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. Prayers from the Chapel to Our Lady of Knock Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. For further information, 708-862-5454.

I was saddened to hear the news about Jimmy. We worked together at U.S. Steel and I have many fond memories. My condolences to the family. Jimmy was a good guy and good family man.
